The Autumn of Mr. Hong

It begins with Sang-soo and his wife, who retired from retirement age after serving as a police chief. These couples are typical of our parents who have lived their entire lives prioritizing their children and families over themselves. Feeling disappointed with her heartless children, the mother in the drama decides that she will no longer live there and proudly reveals to her children what she wants one by one. The story unfolds as the actions, which look like a “mother’s rebellion,” gradually change the relationship and bond between the family.
