“The Havenots”, like beggars, enjoy the good life secretly in a mammonish society. They are free like the birds and feel like artists “The Haves” want “more”, causing greed for “more” in a capitalist society, but “The Havenots” bring latitude of mind. That is why “The Havenots” are a lot happier than “The Haves”.
Kim Chun-sam, the Street King! An illiterate havenot in a society where social status determines the haves and the quality of people is fixed with education. He can be a free-bias person without education and the world is his oyster. High is higher, law is lower, far is farther, close is closer and sometimes everything looks the opposite to him. The Street King can give you the opportunity to look back at Korean history, Japanese Colonization, the Liberal Party, Revitalization, Cultural citizens and up to the present. The Hobo King is the one who lives at the bottom of the social scale in those periods. He is not the symbol of a beggar, but rather a symbol of service and sacrifice, self-support, and of salvation of the world.
